AI Circle: Contributor Survey.

Hi all & Michael,
As AI continues to be a key theme in the 2025 roadmap, I’ve been leaning more intentionally into this space — experimenting, prototyping, and shaping ideas around how Flutter can become a great platform for AI-powered apps and AI-assisted development. I didn’t have any change related feedback for the roadmap repo but;
I’ll be speaking at the Flutteristas Conference on April 5 about AI Coding Assistants: Where They Can Fit in Your Flutter Development Routine and kickstarting some content creation that I am planning for 2025 and 2026 at least.
Given how fast this area is moving — and how much community energy is already around it — I wanted to bring a few ideas to this group for feedback and possible collaboration:
- 💡 An official AI-in-Flutter sample repo or starter kit: Pre-wired with integrations (Gemini, Whisper, etc.), UI patterns, streaming, voice/text, etc. Could be a joint effort between core team + community.
- 🧪 A curated space for testing AI-powered Flutter DevTools or AI-assisted programming experiments
- ⚡️ A Flutter + AI Community Hackathon or showcase, spotlighting what’s possible and what we can build together.
- 🤝 I’d also love to know if anyone here is already working in this space, or wants to connect to co-create, test ideas, or contribute to open tooling/content.
This is something I want to get serious about — not just as a dev, but as someone who can help drive energy, content, and collaboration around Flutter and AI in the ecosystem.
